73. Will you let Him?

  2 Peter 2: 4&5 says, "For if God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of judgement. 5. And God did not spare the ancient world--- except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God's righteous judgement. So God protected Noah when He destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood."

    Let that sink in! Now read it again!

Satan was an angel! He was there! He had already made it into Heaven! He knew God personally! He knew the glories of Heaven! And yet, he still had free will. Just the same as the rest of us. He chose his own path. He chose to not follow God. He chose to be cast out! God is gracious and merciful! He gave Satan chance after chance after chance to get his act together. The same way He does for us! Satan refused. The other angels that followed in that rebellion also had chance after chance after chance. It makes me wonder what they truly thought the outcome would be at that time. But God had enough! He cast them out of Heaven!

     The Great Flood! God warned all the earth over and over and over! They chose to not listen! God saved Noah and his family- because Noah was faithful. The rest of the world was flooded! Not just a wash your car away flood!  This was a "can't see the bottom" kind of flood. 

    So where are you with your chance after chance after chance? What are you choosing? Are you going to fall in line? Are you going to listen to our Lord? 

   DO you think you will be able to sneak into Heaven? God kicked out Satan! God wiped out the entire earth! He saved Noah! Are you as righteous as Noah? Would God pluck you out of ALL the nations to save you?

    Let me be clear-- God is MIGHTY! He is the One and the Only! The Beginning and the End. He is all encompassing! He is the Ultimate Authority! HE is the most Powerful! And the Highest of Kings! God Wins every single time! Always has and always will!

    But our Mighty God gave us each free will! He can only be all of those Glorious powers in our lives, IF WE LET HIM!

Let that sink in....

   IF WE LET HIM!!!
