It is no secret that this world is in great turmoil! It is heart wrenching to watch the news, and it is truly scary what is happening in our own neighborhoods. Cities that were once deemed safe! Are no longer, there is no longer a way of telling when or where the next great catastrophe will take place!
America- was built on God's promises! We built everything on the foundation of Christ. Our money even proclaims, "In God we trust". And now we are in jeopardy of losing that proclamation on our money. Do you know what will happen if the entire country turns their back on God??
We have been cowards! Hiding behind Jesus and using the excuse that we are to show Jesus and love like Jesus in everything that we do. That we have turned to showing the love of Jesus by eliminating Him just to protect someone else's feelings. We have become afraid of confrontation. We have been afraid to stand up for our God! The one's that we are afraid of offending, are steady standing their ground! They are holding firm to their beliefs, and watching as we slink down, and we have lost our ground. When will stand back up and fight for our God!?!
God is crying out for us to stand tall! To be bold! And to declare that America is the territory of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
Hosea 2:14-16 says, "But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there. 15. I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of Hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long agon when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. 16. When that day comes, 'says the Lord,' you will call me 'my husband' instead of 'my master'."
The "her" He was referring to was Israel. I believe if God were to speak to America right now, His message would be very similar! A cry to return to Him! To run the enemy out of His territory! He wants to transform this land! He wants to light up all the darkness! He wants to be rid of drugs that have been wreaking havoc on our nation!
He wants to change hearts and minds! He wants to expose the evil and banish it! He wants to change the hearts and minds of rapists! He wants to change the hearts and minds of people selling humans! He wants to change the hearts and minds of murderers!
I can't wait to see that day! People helping people! Neighbors talking! People coming together without an agenda! Can you imagine that???
God's heart is breaking! His heavenly army is set up and ready! He is waiting for us! He is waiting for you! And for your neighbor! He wants to give every person every opportunity to turn your life and your heart over to Him! The evidence is all around you! When you kneel before God Almighty!- Telling Him that you didn't know- that you never heard of Jesus. God will be able to show you every time you rejected Him. Every time you turned a blind eye or a deaf ear to Him. There will be no denying!
God's love is never-ending! He is patient! But His fury will be great! What is your heart telling you? What is God telling you? He's calling you! He is calling you BY NAME! Open your deaf ears! Open your blinded eyes! Look at your Father! Let Him welcome you home!
